LDK-1 help: the app on iPad

LDK-1 is L.Dre's drum kit player for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Getting started
LDK-1 opens with a free kit: 16 pads of kicks, snares and hats from Drum Kit Vol. 8. Tap GET VOL. 8 to unlock all 205 one-shots on 32 pads (bank B adds percussion and foley).

Bank A is free, bank B comes with Vol. 8

Already bought Drum Kit Vol. 8 from prodbyldre.com?
Tap GET VOL. 8, then Add from Files, and choose the pack's zip, or the folder Files unzipped it into. LDK-1 copies the one-shots in; the loops aren't used.

New phone or iPad?
Tap GET VOL. 8, then Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Using LDK-1 in your music apps (AUv3)
LDK-1 is also an AUv3 instrument plugin, so it plays inside any music app that loads Audio Unit instruments, such as GarageBand, Logic Pro for iPad, AUM, Cubasis and Loopy Pro. Look for L.Dre: LDK-1 in the app's instrument or Audio Unit list (in GarageBand: add a track, then External > Audio Unit Extensions). Kits and presets you save in the app show up there too. Vol. 8 is bought in the LDK-1 app; it then plays in your other apps as well.

LDK-1 as an AUv3 instrument inside a music app

MIDI controllers
Plug in a MIDI controller; its pads play LDK-1's pads from C1 (bank A) to G3 (bank B).
